We like things to feel easy, including the fine print. This Cookie Policy explains how Coloroom and the services connected to coloroomhair.com use cookies and similar technologies.
This policy should be read with our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by a website or service in your browser. They can help a website work, remember choices, understand activity, and measure advertising.
We also use similar technologies, including browser session storage, tags, and pixels. In this policy, “cookies” includes these technologies unless a distinction matters.

- understand how people find and use the site;
- measure page views, engagement, and campaign performance;
- understand and improve the recruitment journey;
- prevent duplicate application-completion events; and
- measure or support advertising when marketing cookies are enabled.

Essential cookies support functions such as security, network management, form operation, and remembering privacy choices. The website may not work correctly without them, so they cannot be disabled through our cookie-preference tool.

They are used only as allowed by the cookie preferences available on the site.

Browser restrictions or provider settings may shorten these durations.
Google Tag Manager helps load and manage measurement tags. Google Tag Manager does not itself require a cookie, but the services loaded through it may use cookies or send measurement data according to their configuration and your available choices.
Marketing cookies
Marketing cookies help measure advertising, understand whether an ad led to a website action, and support relevant advertising. These cookies should be used only when marketing cookies are enabled.
When Coloroom activates Meta Pixel or related Meta advertising tools, Meta may use:
_fbp: Identifies a browser for advertising measurement and site analytics. Typical duration: 90 days.
Meta may use additional cookies when a visitor is logged into Facebook or Instagram, interacts with embedded Meta content, or uses other Meta products. Meta controls those cookies and may change them over time.
Embedded and external content
Some pages may display or link to content from Instagram, Facebook, Google Maps, Zenoti, Aveda, or other services. Embedded content may allow its provider to set cookies or receive information about your interaction, depending on the provider, your browser, and your cookie choices.
When you follow a link to another website, that website’s cookie and privacy policies apply.
Recruitment session storage
Coloroom uses browser session storage during the recruitment journey. Session storage normally clears when the browser tab or session ends.
The recruitment journey may store:
cr_recruitment_attribution_v1: Preserves campaign source, medium, campaign, creative, campaign ID, and associated job during the session.cr_recruitment_pending_v1: Temporarily records that a valid application submission is moving to the confirmation page.cr_recruitment_complete_v1: Prevents the same completed application from being counted more than once during the session.
This session storage does not contain the answers typed into application fields, names, email addresses, phone numbers, resumes, or other application content.
Managing cookies
Select Cookie Preferences on coloroomhair.com to review or update the choices available on the site. Essential cookies remain active because they support the operation and security of the website.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies at the browser level may affect how the website or some connected services function.
Cookie choices are generally stored for 30 days by Squarespace. The banner or preference prompt may appear again after that period, after cookies are cleared, or when you use a different browser or device.
Changes to this policy
Cookies and connected services may change as the website evolves. We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect those changes. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when this policy was most recently revised.
